Creating caring spaces: A panel about sustainable community care in publishing

Working in publishing is synonymous with the valorization of intense labour. We commiserate but laugh off the long hours, relatively low pay, and incredibly busy seasons, often in understaffed and under-resourced companies. We normalize it for the sake of doing work we love, but we burn out doing it too. Join a panel of industry peers as they discuss ways to make changes to this and hold space to support one another by examining the work done in their own organizations and independent practices to shape and change expectations.
